Syracuse, NY - The Lazer softball team has announced its' schedule for the 2026 season. Led by head coach,
Victoria Thuman-Capucilli, Onondaga will host five conference doubleheaders in the regular season with Finger Lakes, Genesee, Tompkins-Cortland, Cayuga, and Corning Community College.
The Lazers will kickoff the season in North Myrtle Beach, SC at the Fastpitch Dreams Spring Classic from March 15th-19th with competition from Regions 4, 10 and 16.
OCC will begin Region 3 play on March 24th with Monroe Community College on Onondaga's home field. The Monroe Tribunes ended the Lazers' 2025 season in the Region 3B Championship in a best of 3 game series.
The Lazers will host Cayuga Community College on April 26th for the first time since April of 2022 since the Cayuga program was last in operation.
Onondaga will look to advance to the National Tournament for the first time since 2019, to be held at and hosted by Herkimer County Community College.
"Our schedule will test us early, and that's exactly what we want. Coming off a regional championship appearance last season, this group has a strong mix of freshmen and veteran sophomores ready to take the next step as we continue building our culture and standard this spring."
