Sydney Puttkamer of Onondaga Softball have earned All-Conference honors as well as MSAC Coach of the Year for the 2025 season.
Avalon Millard, out of Vista, CA, has appeared in 10 out of 10 MSAC matchups, batting a .371 with 13 hits. The Freshman outfielder went 3-4 on April 12th on the road against the MSAC Champions, Jefferson Community College.
Syracuse local
Paige Glassford, appearing in 10 out of 10 MSAC matchups, batted a .364 against conference opponents with 12 hits. The Sophomore had a career high 4 RBIs at Corning Community College on April 29th.
Brooke Nicholson, the Sophomore Infielder from Liverpool, NY, appeared in 10 of 10 conference games batting a .375 with 12 hits and 7 RBIs. She had 3 RBIs against Finger Lakes on April 27th for the Lazers.
Erin LaVancha from Jordan Elbridge High School led the team in conference play with 11 RBIs and 3 alone against Finger Lakes on April 27th. She appeared in all conference matchups batting a .394 in MSAC and had her first career homerun against Jefferson on April 12th.
Sydney Puttkamer, the Pitcher from Cicero, NY, appeared in all conference matchups pitching 42.2 innings. She recorded 56 strikeouts, 13 alone against Finger Lakes and 13 more in game 2 on April 27th. Her earned run average against conference opponents was 5.74.
Lily Stevens was awarded Mid-State Athletic Conference Honorable Mention for the season.
Head Coach Tori Thuman was awarded MSAC Coach of the Year with a 4-6 record over opponents Jefferson, Genesee, Finger Lakes, and Corning Community College. Thuman coached the Lazers to a win over Genesee on April 17th in game 2 after trailing 11-7 in the 5th inning for their first MSAC win.
