Brittany Cohen led the 2010 Onondaga Women's Basketball team to a National Championship Runner-Up finish to cap off a 35-1 season. Cohen was named Third Team All-American, First Team All-Region, and First Team All-Conference. The 2010 Lazers went 14-0 in the Mid-State Athletic Conference defeating opponents by an average of 26.9 points. Cohen was a standout force in the MSAC as the tournament MVP, averaging 15.8 points per game in conference play (4th in MSAC), 6.0 assists per game (1st in MSAC), recorded a 45% field goal percentage (5th in MSAC), a 43.6% 3-point percentage (1st in MSAC), and 75% freethrow percentage (5th in MSAC). After the 2010 season, she was recognized by the Syracuse Sports Corporation in the following May, receiving the the Believe to Achieve Award sponsored by OCC and the Pen and Trophy Center. 

After Onondaga, Cohen transferred to SUNY Cortland where she continued her basketball career. She was a 2x SUNYAC Player of the Year and WBCA Honorable Mention All-American averaging 15.3 points and 6.1 assists per game. She holds the record for 7th highest career freethrow percentage as well as 8th in career assists in program history.

Cohen began her coaching career at LeMoyne College in 2012 as a graduate assistant of the Women's Basketball program. She returned to her alma mater, Jamesville-Dewitt High School, in the 2013-14 season as an assistant to help lead the varsity girls program to 22-3. She was the head assistant at Nazareth University the following year before joining the Dallas Mavericks in 2015 as a member of the player development staff. In 2016, she was hired as the Head Women's Basketball Coach at SUNY Potsdam.
