Lazers Baseball was defeated by Ithaca College (JV), 11-3, on Wednesday afternoon at the Baseball Complex to snap their eight game winning streak.

Ithaca scored one in the top of the first inning after a lead-off double and an RBI single.
Â
In typical fashion the Lazers scored in the first inning.
Brandon Breen hit a lead-off single and an error by the short stop allowed him to advance to second base.
Michael Kasch earned a walk on a full-count, and
Mikey Espinal smashed a sacrifice fly to deep center field to move the runners and score Breen.

Mikey Espinal also scored the Lazers second run of the game in the third inning to take a, 2-1, lead.
Brandon Breen started it again when he was hit by a pitch, stole second base, and moved to third on
Michael Kasch's infield groundout. Espinal then hit a sacrifice fly to right field to score Breen.

The Bomber's took over in the final three innings with a 4-run sixth inning, 2-run seventh, and 4-run eighth.

Onondaga had just four hits in the loss coming off the bats of
Brandon Breen,
Mikey Espinal,
James Salamone, and
Chad Raychel. Espinal went 1-for-1 with 2 RBIs and two sacrifice fly balls.

Amir Nitowski (3 hits, 1 run),
Dylan McGee (4 hits),
Kyle Canavally (4 hits, 4 runs), and
Shane Krawec (1 hit) all pitched two innings.
Colin Smith also pitched one inning and gave up 2 hits and 2 runs.

The Lazers head to Jamestown Community College this weekend for a 4-game series on Saturday and Sunday in Jamestown, NY. Both doubleheaders are schedule to start at 1pm.
