Lazers Baseball defeated Erie Community College, 6-2 and 4-2, on Tuesday afternoon in Buffalo, NY to advance their overall record to, 18-4.

Game One: Onondaga 6, Erie 2 (7 innings)
Â
Erie took the early, 1-0, lead until the Lazers took over. Onondaga scored two in the third to take the lead and they never gave it back, adding four more runs to take game one.

Sean Connors started on the mound, striking out eight and giving up 2 runs on 5 hits.
Kyle Canavally closed in the game in the final inning with one strikeout.

Brandon Breen and
Mikey Espinal both went 2-for-4 and totaled 3 RBIs.
Josh Cosgrove,
James Salamone,
Terry Daniels,
Joey Lowen,
Anthony Carrodeguas, and
Anthony Sinicropi all added one hit each in the win.

Game Two: Onondaga 4, Erie 2 (7 innings)
Â
Onondaga scored first in the top of the second inning, but Erie tied it in the bottom of the third. The Lazers extended their lead with a two run fourth and one run in the sixth. The Kats cut the lead in half in the sixth inning, but the Lazers defense kept them scoreless in the seventh to earn their sixth straight win.

Terry Daniels went 2-for-3, and
Brandon Breen's one hit of the day delivered two runs for OCC. Other hits for the Lazers came from
Justin Germain,
Mikey Espinal, and
Anthony Carrodeguas.

James Salamone gave up 2 run on 3 hits and struck out seven through five and two-thirds.
Kyle Naugle faced four batters to finish the game with one strikeout.

Onondaga is back in action on Thursday afternoon at the Baseball Complex as they will host the Kats for a doubleheader scheduled to being at 4pm.
