Lazers Baseball defeated Northampton, 10-3, to start their Spring Break in Myrtle Beach, SC, but fell to Delaware Technical Community College, 10-0, in game two.

Game One: Onondaga 10, Northampton 3 (7 innings)
The bats got hot early for Onondaga and they never stopped.
Chad Raychel and
Josh Cosgrove hit back-to-back singles to start the first, when
Terry Daniels hit a double to left-center field to give the Lazers a, 2-0, lead but Northampton tied it in the bottom of the first.

Josh Cosgrove led off the third with a double to right-center field and with the help of four walked Lazers, Onondaga scored two. The Spartans scored one in the bottom of the third but remained scoreless for the remainder of the game.

With two outs in the fifth,
Ethan Wiedmer started tacking on the insurance runs as he crushed a homerun to center field.
Anthony Carrodeguas followed with a single and scored off a double by
Brandon Breen.

Onondaga held a, 6-3, lead going into the final inning but the Lazers were not done, tacking on four more runs with the help of a 3 RBI double off the bat of
Josh Cosgrove.

Sean Connors earned his first win of the year by giving up 9 hits, 3 runs, 2 walks, and striking out 4 in five and two-thirds of work.
Kyle Naugle gave up one walk to earn the save.
Anthony Carrodeguas had a perfect day at the plate, going 2-for-2 with 2 walks, 2 RBIs, and scoring twice.
Josh Cosgrove went 3-for-5, crushing 2 doubles for 3 RBIs.
Joey Lowen added 2 hits and an RBI, and
Terry Daniels hit one double for 2 RBIs.

Game Two: Onondaga 0, Delaware Tech 10 (5 innings)

Delaware Technical Community College proved too much for Onondaga, holding the Lazers to just one hit.

Brandon Breen tried to get it going for the Lazers in the first after he was hit by a pitch and stole second, but he was left stranded on third when
Terry Daniels flied out to left.

Joey Lowen (1-2) knocked a single in the fifth followed by a walk to
David Heath, but the Lazers left two on to end the game with a groundout to short-stop.

In 4.1 innings of work,
Amir Nitowski struck out four and gave up 8 runs on 7 hits.
Shane Krawec finished the game with 1 strikeout and gave up 2 runs on 3 hits.
