Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 The Onondaga Community College baseball team concluded its season on Saturday as the Lazers fell in a best-of-three series in the 2015 Region III Baseball Championship to Schenectady County Community College in Schenectady.

With the losses, Onondaga wraps up the 2015 campaign at 23-21 while the Royals improve to 21-16 and continue on in the tournament.

Game One: Onondaga 0, Schenectady 7

The Lazers struggled to find a rhythm while the Royals found their groove early, scoring seven runs over the nine-inning affair to take a 1-0 lead in the series.

Nate Boughton suffered the loss on the mound for Onondaga and ended his freshman season with a mark of 6-4.

Game Two: Onondaga 3, Schenectady 5

Onondaga was within striking distance the entire game and had the tying runs in scoring position in the final inning, but it was not to be as the Royals induced a final out to clinch the series, 2-0.

Avery Brooks, Ricky Ortiz and Brandon Kapcinski each collected an RBI in the loss while Reynaldo Hernandez was saddled with the loss and completed his freshman campaign at 5-4.
