Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Game 1 - Onondaga Lazers seize victory thanks to late single, drop BCC 5-3

Onondaga Lazers outlasted BCC on Wednesday after five lead changes, squeaking out a 5-3 win.  Onondaga Lazers pulled out the win thanks to a strong seventh inning. Onondaga Lazers scored on an RBI single by Chris Rave off Terrence Garcia, scoring Wes Randall.

Ryan Paige had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the second and third innings.

Reid Van Woert recorded the win for Onondaga Lazers. He allowed three runs over seven innings. Reid struck out three, walked two and gave up seven hits.

Onondaga Lazers was sparked by Ryan Paige and Joey Picone, who teamed up for four hits and three RBIs.

Terrence took the loss for BCC. He lasted just 6 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed five runs.

Onondaga Lazers jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the second. Ryan Paige doubled to ignite Onondaga Lazers' offense, before Joey Picone singled, plating Ryan Paige.

Onondaga Lazers got one-run rallies in the third inning and the sixth. In the third, Onondaga Lazers scored on an RBI double by Ryan Paige, scoring Ed Tagliareni.

BCC answered Onondaga Lazers' top inning with two runs of its own in the third. BCC scored on A two-run single by Troy Scales.

Game 2 - Early lead gives Onondaga Lazers easy victory over BCC, 12-0

Onondaga Lazers jumped out to an early lead on BCC and captured a 12-0 victory on Wednesday.  Six runs in the first three innings allowed Onondaga Lazers to put the game away early.  A sacrifice fly by David Nuzzo in the second inning fueled Onondaga Lazers' offense early.

Brandon Barron racked up four RBIs on two hits for Onondaga Lazers. He singled in the fifth inning and homered in the sixth inning.

Tanner Whiteman pitched lights out for Onondaga Lazers. BCC managed just one hit off of the Onondaga Lazers' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his five innings of work.

Henry Pellicciotti took the loss for BCC. He allowed six runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out one.

Onondaga Lazers added five more runs in the top of the third. Ed Tagliareni kicked things off with a single, scoring Wes Randall.  Onondaga Lazers increased its lead with two runs in the fifth. The inning got off to a hot start when Zach Traver singled, plating Ben Verkley.

Onondaga Lazers tacked on another four runs in the sixth. A single by Verkley ignited the offense,, scoring Raul Cabada. That was followed up by Brandon Barron's three-run home run, scoring Brandon Kapcinski and Verkley.

Onondaga moves to 35-7 overall, 25-1 in Region 3 play, and 23-1 in the west division. The Lazers are currently ranked #3 in the nation.
