The game was decided quickly as Onondaga Lazers exerted its will early with six runs in the first three innings.
A solo home run by
David Nuzzo in the second inning helped Onondaga Lazers put some runs on the board early.
Chris Rave racked up five RBIs on three hits for Onondaga Lazers. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the third and fifth innings.
Peyton Boice racked up eight strikeouts in the Onondaga Lazers win. Peyton allowed one earned run on two hits and five walks over five innings.
Onondaga Lazers easily handled FLCC pitching as six hitters combined for 15 hits, 10 RBIs and nine runs scored.
Derick Fera couldn't get it done on the hill for FLCC, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked none and struck out two.
Onondaga Lazers added five more runs in the top of the third.

Wes Randall to start the inning. That was followed up by
Ryan Paige's double, scoring Rave. Onondaga Lazers increased its lead with seven runs in the fifth. Tagliareni's single got things going, bringing home
Joey Picone. That was followed up by Rave's double, scoring Tagliareni , Zach Traver and
Tyler Kirwan.

Wes Randall, an RBI triple by
Tyler Kirwan, an RBI double by
Chris Rave, an RBI single by
Ryan Paige, and an RBI double by
Brandon Barron.
Brandon Barron had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits.

Brandon Nylin kept FLCC off the scoreboard for all five innings he was on the hill. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on five hits while ringing up three.

The game's last lead went to Onondaga Lazers thanks to a second inning rally that saw four runs cross the plate on a two-run double by Randall, a squeeze bunt by Picone and an RBI triple by
Brandon Barron.
Onondaga moves to 33-7 overall, 23-1 in Region 3 and 21-1 in the West Division. The Lazers are currently ranked #3 in the nation.
