After pushing across one run in the top of the third, MCC faced just a 4-1 deficit. A groundout by Connor Lewis set off MCC rally. Finally,
Brandon Nylin induced an inning-ending ground out from Ellington Hopkins.
One run in the top of the sixth helped MCC close its deficit to 5-2. An RBI single by Angel Rosario fueled MCC's comeback. Onondaga Lazers stopped the rally after Jacob got Brett Sanders to strike out.
Game 2 - Onondaga Lazers fend off MCC's late push, hold on 2-1MCC was never able to get over the hump and get over its troubles against Onondaga Lazers on Friday, as MCC fell 2-1 after falling behind by two runs in the fourth inning. MCC scored one run in the sixth on A groundout by Mike DiStefano. Despite its efforts, MCC couldn't get over the hump.
