Box Score On a night when the team's four sophomores were honored in a pre-game ceremony and Samantha Britton was recognized for becoming the all-time leading scorer in Onondaga Community College women's basketball history, the Lazers defeated visiting Cayuga Community College 89-36 Tuesday at Allyn Hall.

Sophomores
Shannon Foehl (Skaneateles),
Michaela Whiteman (G. Ray Bodley - Fulton),
Rachel Scalisi (Fabius - Pompey), and Britton (Kenmore West - Buffalo) were all recognized for their accomplishments prior to the game for helping to lead the team to a fine 48-11 record over the past two seasons. Britton recently became the leading scorer in Lazer history surpassing Alyssa Gratien, and now has amassed a total of 1092 over her two year career.

Onondaga jumped out to a 23-7 first period lead that was extended to 44-13 by halftime as ten Lazers contributed to the scoring column led fittingly by Britton with 21 points followed by
Sydni Eure with 16 and Foehl with 12. Eure had her 20th double double of the season with 15 rebounds to go along with her point total.  Eure and Scalisi dished out 6 and 5 assists respectively to lead Onondaga.

With the win, the Lazers finish the regular season at 23-5 (10-2) and will travel as the #2 seed in the upcoming MSAC tournament to take on #3 seed Tompkins Cortland Community College in a 7:30pm tip-off at Finger Lakes Community College on Friday, February 23.
