Brownwood, TX - Onondaga Women's Basketball took a 6th place finish at the NJCAA Division III National Tournament after four matchups.
After defeating the No. 9 Bronx Community College in the opening round, Onondaga advanced to the quarterfinal to face the No. 1 Minnesota West Bluejays, who would become the 2025-26 National Champions. After 40 minutes of play, the Lazers came up short against the No. 1 Bluejays and fell 81-67. Sophomore

Kassidy Jones (Tselani / Cottonwood, AZ / Navajo Prep)Â led OCC with 14 points each.Â
Into the consolation bracket, the Lazers were matched up with the No. 4 Monroe-Bronx Express whom they saw in January of his season, where the Lazers fell 68-77. OCC found redemption Friday afternoon over the No. 4 Express ith a 59-53 victory.
Jada Crocker (Fairport, NY / Fairport HS) dominated with 24 points and 14 rebounds. Freshman
Morgan Vasquez (New York, NY / Lab School Finance Technology) had a day tallying 17 points and 8 rebounds in the victory.
The win over the Express sent the Lazers to the 5th place game, where they would face the No. 7 Owens Community College whom they last saw at the 2024-25 National Tournament where OCC defeated the Express 88-68. After four competitive quarters, the Lazers fell 53-63. taking a 6th place finish.
Aunnie Stier (Miami, FL / John A. Ferguson Senior HS)Â led the way finishing with 13 points.
Jada Crocker was named to the All-Tournament team.
Onondaga Women's Basketball finished the 2025-26 season with an overall record of 25-6.
