Box Score #8 Onondaga Men's Basketball defeated Jefferson Community College, 103-75, on Saturday afternoon in Watertown, NY.
The Lazers held just a 10 point edge over the home team at the half, but outscored the Cannoneers, 21-13, in the initial minutes of the second to capture a comfortable, 70-52, advantage. Onondaga continued their dominance to close out the game outscoring JCC, 33-23.
Tae Elijah had a game-high 25 points, followed by
James Walker's 24 point and 6 rebound performance.
Tyler Sullivan sank 20 points and passed out 7 assists.
Nate Cutler and
Shemere Elliott (5 rebounds) each added 10 points in the effort.
The Lazers stay on the road against Tompkins Cortland Community College on Wednesday at 7pm. OCC returns home next Saturday, February 18th to celebrate Sophomore Day at 3pm.
