Box Score The Onondaga Community College Women's Basketball team returned home for its first game of the season at SRC Arena (all of their previous home games have been held at Allyn Hall) after a long weekend road trip to northern New York and used a strong inside game and denying defense to defeat #11 nationally ranked Hudson Valley Community College 77-57.

With the win, the unranked Lazers moved to 8-2 on the year while Hudson Valley fell to 7-3.

Sydni Eure (East Syracuse Minoa) scored a season high 21 points while gathering 12 rebounds and leading the defensive effort with 7 steals. The double-double was her 9
th of the season. Samantha Britton (Kenmore West)– Region 3's third leading scoring – hit her season average of 20 points and also pulled down 12 boards.Â
Shannon Foehl (Skaneateles) dished out 5 assists while
Hanna Keysor (Cato Meridian) came off the bench for a season high 5 rebounds. Â Â Onondaga's defense held high-scoring Hudson Valley to 20 points below its season average.

The Lazers return to action this weekend with a 3pm game on Saturday, December 9 against Herkimer Community College and a 1pm contest on Sunday, December 10 against SUNY Adirondack. Both games will take place at SRC Arena.
