Box Score The Onondaga Community College Women's Basketball Team extended their win streak to three games on Saturday at home in Allyn Hall with a 70-54 victory over visiting Columbia Greene Community College.
 
The Lazers (5-1 for the season) jumped out to an early 8-0 and finished the the first period up 16-12.  With four starters in foul trouble half way through of the second period, the Onondaga bench performed well in maintaining a 26-19 lead at halftime.  The Lazers continued to build on the lead which they extended to double digits in the second half while playing solid team defense that limited the visitors to 54 points (16 points below their season average). 
 
Onondaga was once again lead by the double-double inside play of Samantha Britton (Kenmore West) who finished with 22 points and 11 rebounds and Sydni Eure (East Syracuse Minoa) who had 11 points and a career high 18 boards.  Freshman point guard Payton Noeller (Cato-Meridian) chipped in with 15 points and 6 assists while freshmen Jayda Humphrey (Rome Free Academy) scored a career high 13 points that included 3 makes from beyond the three-point line.  Columbia Greene fell to 6-2 with the loss.
 
Onondaga returns home for a 6pm tip-off against D-II Erie Community College on Tuesday, November 21 in its final game before the Thanksgiving break.
