Box Score Paced by a pair of double-doubles from sophomore forwards Samantha Britton and Sydni Eure and the guard play of sophomore Shannon Foehl and freshmen Payton Noeller, the Onondaga Community College women's basketball team emerged with an 84-51 victory on the road against Fulton Montgomery Community College in Johnstown on Saturday.

After getting out to leads of 21-9 at the end of the first period and 41-24 at halftime, the visiting Lazers saw their lead shrunk to 10 with 2-1/2 minutes left in the third period only to go on a 33-10 run to end the game and seal the victory. Onondaga goes to 4-1 on the season while Fulton Montgomery fell to 0-2.

Britton (Kenmore West) finished with a game high 28 points to go along with 10 rebounds while Eure (East Syracuse – Minoa) contributed 14 points and 13 rebounds for her fourth double-double of the season. Foehl (Skaneateles) chipped in with 18 points that included three 3-pointers, and Noeller (Cato-Meridian) had 15 points with two buckets coming from beyond the 3-point line.Â

The Lazers will be returning to action on Sunday, November 19 when they take on Columbia-Greene Community College at 1pm at home in Allyn Hall.
