Box Score The Lazers defeated Dutchess Community College 97-60 in their first matchup of the OCC Classic on Saturday evening.

Onondaga went into halftime with 46-24 lead despite a slow start to the game. The Flacons came within 3 points in the last eight minutes of the first half when Will Cutler drained a three pointer and ignited the Lazers offense, going on a 25-10 run to close out the first 20 minutes of play.

OCC did not let up in the second half tallying 51 additional points. Franky Vigliotti added an explanation point to the victory when he came off the bench and made 2 three-pointers and 2 free-throws in the final few minutes of the contest.  

Nate Cutler led the scoring for the Lazers with 16 points. Four other Lazers scored in double digits: Will Cutler (13), James Walker (12), Bobby Leslie (11) and Shemere Elliott (10)

Onondaga will play SUNY Sullivan tomorrow at 2pm in the SRC Arena & Events Center.
