Box Score The Lazers remain undefeated with a, 109-103, victory over Fulton-Montgomery on Saturday afternoon in Allyn Hall.
Onondaga dominated the start of the game as
James Walker scored 15 of his 19 total points, and
Tyler Sullivan,
Tae Elijah and
Will Cutler combined for five three-pointers in the first ten minutes of the game. OCC entered halftime with, 62-37, lead over the 3-1 Raiders. Fulton Montgomery came alive in the second half, outscoring Onondaga 66-47. The Raiders narrowed their deficit to seventeen points with 5:30 left in the game and kept the momentum to narrow the gap to four with 1:32 remaining. The Lazers held off the Raiders late surge when
Will Cutler and
James Walker went 4 for 4 from the free throw line to secure the victory.
Leading the scoring effort was
Tyler Sullivan with 28 points, followed by
James Walker (19 points),
Will Cutler (18 points),
Shemere Elliott (13 points) and
Nate Cutler (13 points).
The Lazers greatest test of the season arrives next Saturday, November 19th at 5pm, when Potomac State College of WVU visits Onondaga. The Catamounts are currently 3-0 and ranked 20th in the NJCAA Division 2 preseason polls.
