Box Score Syracuse, NY - The #9 seed Onondaga Community College men's basketball team rallied from a 12-point second half deficit to force overtime in Tuesday's NJCAA Region 3 tournament contest at #8 Cayuga Community College.  The Lazers then took a quick 4-point advantage in the extra session, but the Spartans rallied and scored the game's final 10 points to come away with an 85-78 victory.  Cayuga advances to the regional quarterfinals, and will play at top seeded SUNY Delhi on Friday at 1 pm.

Zaki Thomas led Cayuga with a game high 25 points, while Glenn Taggart added 19 and Michael Guity chipped in 18.  Joe Piazza (Central Square P.V. Moore) scored 22 points to lead Onondaga, with 17 of those coming in the second half and overtime.  Vaughndell Brantley (Cicero-North Syracuse) and Tyler Bliss (Liverpool) added 18 and 11 points respectively for Onondaga.
