Box Score Corning, NY - The #2-ranked Onondaga Community College women's basketball team jumped out to a 20-2 start against the Corning Community College on their way to a resounding 100-47 win in Mid State Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon in Corning.
The Lady Lazers improved to a record of 13-4 with the win while the Lady Red Barons fell to 5-7.
Allie Taylor (Hannibal) led a balanced scoring attack with 15 points while
Brittany Anderson (Mynderse Academy) had 12, followed by
Arin Crowell (South Jefferson) with 11 and
Lauren Roy (Bishop Ludden) with 10. Â
Jenn Deuel (Whitesboro) had another good all-around floor game with 7 points, 5 steals, 5 rebounds and 3 blocked shots. Â Onondaga made 10 3-pointers in the game and had a season-high 25 assists.
Onondaga returns home for a game against Broome County Community College on Tuesday, January 14 at 6pm - the first of 6 games in a 12-day stretch for the team.
