Box Score Syracuse, NY - Onondaga rallied from a 10-point second half deficit to take a 72-70 lead with 3:07 remaining, but Columbia-Greene's Khalil Paul responded with a basket and free throw to give the Twins back the advantage. The Lazers then went without a field goal until Ben Honahan's (Malone Franklin Academy) 3-pointer with 34 seconds to go brought Onondaga within 79-76. The Twins then made 3 of 4 free throws in the final seconds to hold onto the win.
Jordan Hoose led Columbia-Greene with 28 points, while Paul added 22 and Carlito Carvalho chipped in 16.
Vaughndell Brantley (Cicero-North Syracuse) topped Onondaga with 24 points, while Honahan,
Tyler Bliss (Liverpool) and
Colyn Hanley (Jordan-Elbridge) added 11 points apiece. Hanley also pulled down 16 rebounds.
Onondaga is now off until Tuesday, December 3rd, when they host Davis College in a 7:00 pm tip-off in the SRC Arena and Events Center.
