Syracuse, NY - Seven members of Onondaga Women's Soccer were named to the All-Region team for 2025.
Briana Dorrance, Defender from Cicero North-Syracuse High School was named First Team All-Region. The Sophomore appeared in 13 of 13 matches, recording 4 goals and 3 assists for a total 11 points. She recorded 2 goals in the Region 3a semifinal against Erie Community College.
Juliana Elberson, the Sophomore from Oneida, led the Lazers with 13 goals (5th in Region 3) and 4 assists for a total 30 points (8th in Region 3). She scored a season high 4 goals against Erie on 9/20 and 3 against Corning on 10/8. The performance earned her First Team honors.
Defender
Natalie Hughes from Croghan, NY secured a First Team spot. The Freshman appeared in 13 matches defending the Lazer territory allowing just 6 goals in the regular season.Â
Geona Wood, Lazer Goalkeeper from Dester, NY, defended the Lazer goal in 13 of 13 matches allowing just 6 goals in the regular season (2nd in Region 3). The Sophomore earned First Team Honors recording 10 shutouts and a .48 goals against average and a save percentage of .880.
Adalynn Olmstead rounded out the Lazers' First Team honors with her leading performance of 13 goals (5th in Region 3) and 4 assists. The Croghan Freshman had two 3 goal performances versus Tompkins-Cortland on 9/3 and Erie on 9/20.
Poppy Diabo, Sophomore from Kahnawake, QC, earned Second Team honors with 6 goals and 8 assists (13th in Region 3) on the season. The Forward kicked off the season with a 2-goal performance against Tompkins-Cortland on 9/3.
Midfielder
Brooke Widrick earned a Third Team spot with 5 goals and 6 assists. The Lowville Sophomore kicked off the season with 2 goals against Tompkins-Cortland on 9/3.
