Batavia, NY - Onondaga Women's Soccer fell to the No. 3 Mohawk Valley Hawks, 0-3, in the Region 3A Championship on Sunday hosted by Genesee Community College.

Geona Wood recorded 12 saves, including a save on a penalty kick taken by the Hawks midway through the first half, to keep the score 0-0. A defensive fluke allowed the Hawks first goal at the end of the first half to send the Lazers into halftime trailing 0-1. A quick goal just 45 seconds into the second half for the Hawks entering the second half gave them a 2-0 lead and a tall task for the Lazers. The Hawks capped off the 3-0 win at 70:30, ending Onondaga's season.

Briana Dorrance were named to the All-Tournament team.
The Lazers finish the season with an overall 11-2-1 record.
