Lazers Softball won three of four games this past weekend. First they traveled to Jefferson Community College on Saturday and hosted Erie Community College on Sunday for Sophomore Day.

Saturday Game One: Onondaga 27, Jefferson 0 (5 innings)
As a team, Onondaga strung together a total of twenty-three hits and twenty-five RBIs.
Amanda Prell hit for the cycle with a homerun, triple, double, and single giving her eight RBIs. Three hits apiece came from
Casey Gray (3 RBIs),
Emily Clapper (5 RBIs), and
Micaela Madigan (2 RBIs) while
Nicole Sheffer went 2-for-3 with three walks.
Tori Duffy gave up just one hit in five shutout innings and struck out six Cannoneers.

Saturday Game Two: Onondaga 10, Jefferson 1 (5 innings)
The Lazers kept the momentum going through the second game of the doubleheader, scoring ten runs on ten hits and seven walks.
Katelyn Stubbs and
Leandra Holmes both hit perfect from the plate with three hits each and two RBIs.
Courtney Piazza added two hits, two RBIs, and also scored two runs.
Megan Brown earned her fourth win of the season, giving up just one run on three hits and striking out seven.

Sunday Game One: Onondaga 12, Erie 3 (5 innings)
Onondaga and Erie were tied at one run each at the end of the first inning when the bats came alive for the Lazers, crossing three runs in the second inning, six more in the third, and two in the fourth. The Kats cut the lead by two in the top of the fifth inning, but the Lazers defense came up with the final outs to end the game.
Multiple hit games came from
Casey Gray (4 RBIs),
Amanda Prell,
Mati Ponsetti, and
Tori Duffy.
Alyssa Durrette gave up three runs on five hits through five innings

Sunday Game One: Onondaga 3, Erie 8
Despite jumping out to a 3-0 lead through two innings, Onondaga was unable to contain the Kats in game two. Erie scored eight unanswered runs to ruin the sweep on Sophomore Day.
Casey Gray continues her hot streak at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one RBI.
Micaela Madigan added two hits, and
Nicole Sheffer went 1-for-2 with an RBI and two walks.
Alyssa Durrette took the ball in game two as well, giving up 8 runs on 9 hits through 6 innings.
Tori Duffy finished the game by striking out two Kats.

The Lazers travel to SUNY Delhi on Tuesday, and then return home on Wednesday for their last home game of the regular season against Fulton Montgomery at 3pm
