Lazers Softball was held to just three hits on Sunday as they were swept, 4-0 and 15-0, by the Mercyhurst Saints in North East, PA.
Hits for the day came off the bats of
Nicole Sheffer,
Katelyn Stubbs, and
Alissa Warner.
Alyssa Durrette was on the mound for game one, pitching a complete game and giving up 4 runs on 7 hits.
Tori Duffy started game two but was unable to contain the Saints, giving up 11 runs on 12 hits before passing the ball over to
Rae Printup in the middle of the first. Printup allowed 3 runs on 3 hits in 1.2 innings, and
Megan Brown gave up one run on 2 walks in the final 2 innings.
Onondaga looks to rebound on Tuesday afternoon, as they host Erie Community College at the Softball Complex for a doubleheader scheduled to start at 3pm.
