Onondaga Softball defeated Finger Lakes Community College in both games on Sunday in Canandaigua.

Game 1: Onondaga 6, Finger Lakes 2

Onondaga put together eleven hits to score six runs over the Lakers.
Nicole Sheffer and
Micaela Madigan each went 3-for-4 and Madigan added 2 RBIs.
Casey Gray also added a double while four other Lazers had hits.

Alyssa Durrette struck out 8 and gave up 2 runs on 6 hits in her complete game effort.

Game 2: Onondaga 13, Finger Lakes 5 (6 innings)

The Lazers continued to dominate in game two with fifteen hits, thirteen RBIs, and earning seven walks.

Megan Brown gave up 5 runs on 4 hits through four innings for her first win of the season.
Alyssa Durrette helped out in the final two innings with one strikeout and she gave up one hit.

Nicole Sheffer added three more hits to end the day 6-for-8 from the plate, and
Jazz Powless added three hits of her own with a double and a triple.
Emily Clapper totaled 3 hits and 3 RBIs with a double and triple, and
Casey Gray and
Courtney Piazza each had two hits and two RBIs.

Onondaga returns home this Tuesday as they host Cayuga Community College. The Spartans are currently undefeated in the Mid-State Athletic Conference (8-0) and are 10-8 overall.
