Onondaga Softball defeated Mohawk Valley Community College, 12-1, on Tuesday evening after a two hour rain delay. The Hawks forfeited the second game of the doubleheader, improving the Lazers record to, 12-9.

The Lazers put five runs on the scoreboard in the first inning, and added five more runs in the third and two runs in the fourth. The Hawks were able to score one run in the top of the fourth, but the Lazers defense were able to get out of the inning while leaving runners on the corners.

Emily Clapper was perfect from the plate with 3 hits, and she added 3 runs, 2 stolen bases, and an RBI.
Nicole Sheffer went 2-for-3 with a triple and a game-high 4 RBIs. Other hits for the Lazers came from

Onondaga visits Corning Community College on Thursday for a doubleheader starting at 3pm. The Lazers look to upset the Red Barons who are currently ranked fifth in the country.
