Lazer softball takes two from Erie, drops a pair to Herkimer

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 | Box Score 3 | Box Score 4 Saturday Game 1 - Onondaga 12, Erie 2

Brittney Sears (Phoenix) went the distance fanning 5 hitters off of 4 hits. She allowed just one earned run in the 5 inning game. Jenn Deuel (Whitesboro) and Allyse Burgos (Liverpool) both were three for four at the plate with 5 RBI's collectively. Whitney Smith (Port Byron) was two for three with two RBI's and Brianna Riggall (Phoenix) was two for four with a single and a double.

Saturday Game 2 - Onondaga 14, Erie 5

In game two bats were ignited by shortstop Kayla Kibling (Bishop Ludden) with a four for five performance including two doubles, and three RBI's. Third baseman Julianna Ferrari (Scotia/Glenville) smacked a homerun with three RBI's. Pitcher Elizabeth Riegler (Adirondack) went the distance in the circle throwing seven complete innings on eleven hits with 4 strikeouts for the day.
 
Sunday Game 1 - Herkimer 3, Onondaga 1

The Lazers fought a tough battle against the defending National Champions in the loss. Brittney Sears (Phoenix) went the distance scattering seven hits , six strikeouts and allowing two earned runs. At the plate, Jenn Deuel (Whitesboro) went two for three with a double, a triple and an RBI. Julianna Ferrari (Scotia Glenville), Allyse Burgos (Liverpool) and Kayla Kibling (Bishop Ludden) all picked up hits in the opener. 


Sunday Game 2 - Herkimer 5, Onondaga 2

In the second game, the Lazers were paced by Kayla Kibling (Bishop Ludden) with a single, a double and a triple in her effort. Julianna Ferrari (Scotia/Glenville) went a solid two for two in the nightcap showing the consistency in the offense. Elizabeth Riegler (Adirondack) came in relief for Brittney Sears (Phoenix) scattering just two hits in her three innings of work. Defensively, Sammi Loveless was outstanding behind the plate throwing out two 
runners for the Lazers.
