Held in check early by Columbia Greene starter Ashley Cahenzli, the Lazer offense got on the board in the top of the third on a rbi single by Sammi Loveless (Central Square), driving in Jenn Deuel (Whitesboro).    Cahenzli remained in control through the 4th retiring the Lazers in order.  In the top of the 5th, the offense came alive sending 11 batters to the plate, scoring 6 runs on 4 hits combined with 3 Columbia Greene errors.  Lively bats continued in the 6th when the Lazers scored 11 additional runs on 12 hits.

Onondaga Freshman Pitcher Brittney Sears improved to 6-1 on the season, allowing 0 runs on 2 hits in 6 innings.

Game 2 - Onondaga 7, Columbia Greene 3

Columbia Greene opened up the scoring in the bottom of the second sending 9 batters to the plate, scoring 3 runs on 4 hits off Lazer starter Elizabeth Riegler (Adirondack).  Brittney Sears (Phoenix) replaced Reigler in the circle and ended the inning on a bases loaded Columbia Greene ground out.

Lazers responded in the top of the 3rd with 3 runs of their own.  Chantel Hammond (Ithaca) hit a lead of single and then Jenn Deuel (Whitesboro) was hit by a pitch.  Kayla Kibling (Bishop Ludden) drove both runners in with a double cutting the Columbia Greene lead to 3-2.  Britteny Sears and Sammi Loveless (Central Square) followed Kibling with back to back doubles and the inning ended tied at 3.

In the top of the 4th, the Lazers added 4 more runs.  In the inning, hits by Whitney Smith (Port Byron), Elizabeth Riegler, Sammi Loveless and a triple by Jenn Deuel lead the way as Onondaga sent 9 batters to the plate.
