Dallas Briot (Beaver River) also improved to 2-0 on the season with win over North Country. Briot allowed 1 run and 4 hits over 5 innings with 82 strikeouts and 1 walks.
Briot benefited from a fast Lazer start scoring 3 runs in the bottom of the first on a triple by
Kayla Kibling and a homerun by
Brittney Sears. The lazers added 2 runs in the 3rd and opened the game up sending 17 batters to the plate in a 13 run 4th inning where 13 hits were recorded.
