Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Game 1 - Onondaga 16, North Country 0 (5 innings)

Freshman Pitcher Elizabeth Riegler (Adirondack) improved to 2-0 on the season with a dominating performance over North Country.  Riegler allowed just 2 hits over 5 innings with 8 strikeouts and no walks.

After giving up a leadoff single to open the game, Riegler settled in and retired the next 6 North Country batters in order.  In the bottom of the first the Lazer offense got off to a fast start scoring 4 runs with back to back singles by Jenn Deuel and Kayla Kibling  followed by a 3 run homer by Brittney Sears.  The fourth run was scored on a single by Allyse Burgos and a sac fly by Sammi Loveless.  The  Lazers added 4 runs in the second and 8 in the 4th.

North Country's only other hit of the game was a lead-off single in the 3rd, Riegler then retired the next 9 batters to close out the game.
Offensively, the Lazers were led by Jenn Deuel (Whitesboro) hitting 4 for 4 Brittney Sears (Phoenix) 3 for 4,  (2 doubles and a HR).


Game 2 - Onondaga 18, North Country 1

In the second game of the double header Freshman Pitcher Dallas Briot (Beaver River) also improved to 2-0 on the season with win over North Country.  Briot allowed 1 run and 4 hits over 5 innings with 82 strikeouts and 1 walks.

Briot benefited from a fast Lazer start scoring 3 runs in the bottom of the first on a triple by Kayla Kibling and a homerun by Brittney Sears.  The lazers added 2 runs in the 3rd and opened the game up sending 17 batters to the plate in a 13 run 4th inning where 13 hits were recorded.
