Box Score Syracuse, NY - The Onondaga Community College women's basketball team (8-0) started their game against the SUNY Delhi women (0-6) on a 27-4 run and then bettered that effort with a 27-0 run to start the second half on their way to a 104-20 home win on Saturday afternoon.
Onondaga's balanced scoring attack saw six players score in double figures led by
Arin Crowell (South Jefferson) with a career high 16 points. Â
Allie Taylor (Hannibal) chipped in with 14 points, while
Courtney Louis (Oswego) (13),
Kayla Kibling (Bishop Ludden) (13),
Lauren Roy (Bishop Ludden) (10), and
Amanda Marcely (Bishop Grimes) (10) all scored in double digits. Â The Lady Lazers shot a highly efficient 57% from the floor for the game that included a season high team total on 10 3-pointers - with Crowell converting on 4 shots from beyond the arc. Â
Jenn Deuel (Whitesboro) led Onondaga's swarming defense with 5 steals while
Brittany Anderson (Mynderse Academy) dished out 5 assists.
Onondaga will be back in action after the Thanksgiving break at home against Davis College on Tuesday, December 3 at 6pm.
