Syracuse, NY - Women's Basketball hosted SUNY Broome in Allyn Hall Wednesday morning with a 10am tipoff with the Hornets. The Lazers advanced to 12-3 overall and 4-1 in conference with a 76-31 victory.
OCC took a substantial lead that they would never relinquish, ending the 1st quarter 23-5 and leading by as much as 27 points in the first half.
Continuing to dominate in the second half, OCC scraped together a 45-point win with points from all participants and converting Broome turnovers to 29 points in the victory. Sophomore
Jada Crocker (Fairport, NY / Fairport HS) led all scorers with 13 points.
Mary Hamer (Belfast, NY / Belfast HS) and
Morgan Vasquez (New York, NY / Lab School Finance Technology) each tallied 10.
Onondaga looks to continue the three game win streak this Sunday with SUNY Niagara at 1pm in Allyn Hall.
