Dryden, NY - Women's Soccer traveled to Tompkins-Cortland Community College to kick off 2025 with a conference matchup against the Panthers.
Sophomore
Poppy Diabo put the Lazers on the board just 2:40 into the match. Onondaga found the back of the net 7 times in the first half with a dominant lead headed into the half with another from Diabo, a pair from Sophomore
Brooke Widrick,
Lillian Walsh,
Jasmine Martin, and
Adalynn Olmstead who tacked on another two in the second half for a hat trick in her collegiate debut also with an assist. Walsh and
Juliana Elberson each added two assists on the day.
Geona Wood recorded a shutout in goal in the 9-0 victory. The game was halted at the 70-minute mark due to the newly implemented mercy rule with a lead of eight or more.
Onondaga travels to Saranac Lake this Saturday, September 6th for a road match with North Country Community College.
