Syracuse, NY - Onondaga Volleyball hosted SUNY Broome in their home opener at 6pm in Allyn Hall. The Lazers were victorious moving to 1-1 on the season defeating the Hornets 3 sets to none.
Onondaga took a 25-19 victory in set 1, kept momentum in set 2 with a 25-20 victory, and secured the win 25-22 in the third, ending the match in a quick three. Freshman
Grace Plewak led with 6 kills. Setter
Chylure Bucktooth finished the day with 21 assists and 8 service aces. The defensive end was held by
Samantha Sovocool with 11 digs alongside
Ella Beckering's 8.
The Lazers will travel to Mohawk Valley this Sunday for their first regional pod of the season.
