Grainger and Weaver Named All-American

Syracuse, NY - Sophomores Kathryn Grainger and Brianna Weaver have been named to the Women's Basketball All-America Teams for the 2024-25 season.

Grainger, out of Fayetteville, NY, was named Third Team All-American, leading her team in rebounds with a total 258 (avg 8.3 per game). She scored a total 401 points on the season with a .387 field goal percentage and .344 three point percentage (48th in NJCAA). Grainger was awarded a spot on the All-Tournament team for her performance in Rochester, MN.

The Cicero-North Syracuse grad Weaver appeared in 33 out of 33 games was granted Honorable Mention leading her team in points with a total 432 (13.1 ppg). She also led her team in 3-pointers with a total 67 (29.3%). Weaver's showing at the National Tournament included a 22-point performance over the No. 6 Owens Community College in the first round.
