Canandaigua, NY - Onondaga Women's Basketball took a dominant 85-48 road victory over the Finger Lakes Community College Lakers.
Sophomore Forward,
Jada Crocker recorded a career high 22 points, going 6-7 from the freethrow line, and grabbed 6 rebounds. Sophomore
Mary Hamer contributed 14 points and 7 rebounds.
The Lazers were solid across the board with two others in double-digits. Sophomore Guard Giselle Allen-Cruz went 2-4 from three dropping 12 points and grabbing 4 rebounds off the bench.
Kassidy Jones went 2-2 from three contributing 10 points, 5 steals, and 5 assists. The Lazers went up 13-0 to start the game and outscored the Lakers 33-7 in the 1st quarter and led by 34 to end the 2nd quarter.
Onondaga outworked the Lakers scoring 50 of their points in the paint and forcing 28 Laker turnovers. The victory moves the Lazers to 5-1 on the season and 3-0 in conference.
The women return to Allyn Hall on Thursday, December 4th with 5-0 Fulton-Montgomery Community College.
