Fort Dodge, IA - The Onondaga Cross Country squad flew to the NJCAA Division III National Championship to participate in the Men's 8000M and Women's 5000M.
The midwest made for an epic meet, forcing the Lazers to run for the title in heavy snow and
a brisk 34 degrees. The weather conditions proved to be no match for Onondaga front runner,
Paul Clark, securing the title finishing in first place in the Men's 8000M out of an incredible 109 runners. The Baldwinsville Sophomore finished with a time of 26:50.0 at an average mile pace of 5:23.8, a full eight seconds ahead of the second place finisher and seemingly unfazed by the conditions.

"I'm incredibly proud of our team this season. From day one, they trusted the process and gave everything they had. Back-to-back Region III championships and consecutive top-10 finishes at nationals speak to their hard work and commitment. Sophomore
Paul Clark made huge strides, not just as an athlete, but as a leader and inspiration to his teammates. Winning the National Championship in Iowa was a testament to his focus and dedication. Now, our sights are set on chasing a third consecutive Region III title"
Head Coach, Greg Kielar.
