Corning, NY - Women's Soccer traveled to Corning Community College looking to improve their conference record. The Lazers did just that with a 6-0 win over the Red Barons moving to 3-0-1 in MSAC and 8-0-1 overall.
The Onondaga defense achieved their seventh shutout of the season on the Red Barons field with
Geona Wood recording a save in goal. The offensive side came to play which was led by Sophomore
Juliana Elberson who tallied her second season 3+ goal performance.
Jasmine Martin,
Adalynn Olmstead, and
Isabel Fontaine capped off the 6-0 victory with a goal each.
The Lazers remain the No. 1 seed in Region 3 and No. 6 in the nation in week 6. They will host Finger Lakes Community College this Saturday, October 11th at 1pm on Wilbur Field. Onondaga will honor their sophomore class prior to kickoff.
