Bronx, NY - Women's Basketball headed back to the city for a contest against the No. 15 Monroe-Bronx Express. Onondaga hosted the Express in January of last season.

The Lazers trailed to the Express by 11 at the half, shooting 31.8% from the field. The Lazers came out in the second half and got more of the shots they were looking for going 60% from the field in the 3rd cutting Monroe-Bronx's lead to just 5 points. 11 freethrows in the 4th quarter came in clutch as the Lazers outscored the Express 23-14 resulting in a 77-74 victory for OCC.

Sophomore Precious Gabriel returned to the floor for OCC with 20 points and 14 points for her first season double-double. Brianna Weaver had 15 points and 9 rebounds.

The women return to regional play this Sunday, January 19th at 1:00pm in Allyn Hall versus Hudson Valley Community College.
