Corning, NY - Women's Basketball took a 47-point victory over the Corning Red Barons in their first conference game of 2025.
The Lazers outscored the Red Barons 49-13 in the first half and 43-32 in the second half.
Sarah Hirschler led all scorers with 15 points.
Jayda McFall had a career high 12 and
Kathryn Grainger and
Mariah Freeman each followed with 11.
Brianna Weaver tacked on 10 in the victory. Grainger had her 4th season double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Sophomore
Precious Gabriel had 11 rebounds.
The women advance to 8-4 and 4-1 in conference after the win.
The women travel down the Bronx, NY to take on the non-region opponent, Monroe Community College - Bronx for more nationally ranked competition.
