With two road games this past weekend, Women's Soccer brought home two wins over SUNY Broome and Jamestown Community College contributing to their 6-0 start.
Saturday's 1pm kickoff would be a big day for Sophomore
Harmony Russell tying her career high goals scored in a game with 4 against the Hornets, 3 of which were assisted by
Ellysia Germain and 1 by
Lilly Duschen. The remaining Lazer goal was scored by
Brooke Widrick on the assist from Russell, giving her a career high 9 points in a game. The contest ended prematurely due to a severe injury on the field, but still ruling as a complete game, Onondaga took the 5-0 victory.
Sunday's game kicked off at 1pm against the Jamestown Jayhawks which would result in an 8-1 victory. Russell's weekend wouldn't be complete without a hat trick following her 4-goal performance on Saturday. Widrick added 3 goals of her own and Germain wasn't far behind with 2.
Harmony Russell now leads the NJCAA Division III programs with most goals on the season.
Ellysia Germain is 2nd with her 10 goals and
Brooke Widrick is 4th with 7. They are also at the top of the leader board in total points as well.
