Syracuse, NY - The Lazers hosted Corning Community College Wednesday evening. The Corning Women's Soccer program has been on hold since 2021 when the two teams previously met. Onondaga took a 6-0 win over the Red Barons putting them at 7-0.

Brooke Widrick put the Lazers on top to start the game with her first goal of the day on an assist from Ellysia Germain, this weeks' Region III Women's Soccer Athlete of the Week. Widrick added an assist onto her day sending one to Harmony Russell for her first of three on the day. Russell's second goal came on the assist from Freshman Briana Dorrance and the third from Brenna Mast. This is Russell's sixth career 3+ goal game keeping her leading the NJCAA in goals scored. Widrick's second goal from Germain and a free kick from Rosa Stasyuk topped off the Lazers at 6 and taking the win.

The Lazers sit at 7-0 approaching the No. 2 team in the nation, the Mohawk Valley Community College Hawks who they'll host on Wednesday, September 18th at 4pm. The Hawks are currently 1-1-1 and the teams previously met on October 4th, 2023 where the Hawks gave the Lazers one of their only losses of the season with a 2-0 final score.
