Syracuse, NY - The previously undefeated Lazers were handed their first loss last night by the Herkimer Generals after a long drawn out battle with a 0-1 final score.
The Lazers entered the contest with an overall record of 6-0 while the Generals entered the contest 2-1.
The Generals lone goal occurred in the 15th minute finding their way past the solid Lazer defense. Goalie
Mikalah Bliss had 9 saves in the defeat, keeping the margin small. Freshman,
Grace O'Gorman was ejected in the 67th minute after her second yellow card and will be unable to compete in the Lazers next contest against Jefferson Community College this Sunday, September 24th at 1pm where the Lazers will look to bounce back.
