Women's Soccer Shuts Out the Lakers in Home Opener

Syracuse, NY - The women's soccer program kicked off the 2023 season against the Lakers of Finger Lakes Community College this weekend on Wilbur Field. The Lazers held the Lakers scoreless to start the year with a solid 5-0 shutout.

Sophomore captain, Lynnae Russell led the Lazers with 2 goals alongside Freshman, Harmony Russell with 2 of her own. Freshman captain, Brenna Mast contributed one of her own. 

The women look to carry their momentum into tomorrow where they'll host SUNY ESF with a 5pm kickoff on Wilbur Field.
