Canandaigua, NY- The Lazers traveled to Finger Lakes Community College over the weekend for a doubleheader. A slow start to both games doomed the Lazers.
In the first game, Finger Lakes jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning. The Lazers would not get on board until the seventh inning when a
Carlos Fantauzzi hit allowed
Matt Carner to score. This was too late as the Lazers would fall 1-6.
In the second contest, the Lakers got out to a 8-1 lead in the third inning. The Lazers would score the last two runs of the game, but Finger Lakes would survive with a 8-3 victory.
Jake Depalma would lead the Lazers with two hits in two at bats and one run scored.
Onondaga will continue the road trip on Tuesday, April 11th when they travel to Genesse Community College.
