Syracuse, NY - Women's Basketball advanced to 5-0 with a dominant 82-34 win over Finger Lakes Community College. This moves Onondaga's streak to 10 consecutive wins over the Lakers.
The Lazers came out strong right from the start as the Lakers called their first timeout 2.5 minutes in and trailed 12-0. The Lazer defense only allowed 4 Laker points in the first quarter and 10 in the first half as they lead 51-10 entering halftime.Â
With the large lead, Head Coach
Kelly Seibt looked to her bench in the second half as we saw minutes from Freshman,
Jakiya Hill who finished with 6 points and 2 steals.
Cianna Papineau led all scorers with 20 points, 3 steals, and went 4-4 from three.
The Lazers advance to 5-0 as they return to Allyn Hall this Saturday to face the 4-0 Jefferson Cannoneers at 1pm.
