Dryden, NY- The Lazers traveled to Tompkins Cortland for a double header against the Panthers. The Lazers would leave sweeping the doubleheader winning the first matchup 3-1 and dominated the second game 15-2. This pushes the Lazers record to 22-15 on the season.
Devin Rooney had 11 strike outs during the first matchup and only allowed three hits for one run. Garret Stuckey led the way with two hits in three-at-bats and reached home plate twice.
During the second game,
Seth Zurbruegg extended his record to 4-0 on the season with an 11 strike out performance. The Lazers were able to push the game out of reach scoring 10 runs in the first two innings.
Eli Neth led the Lazers with two hits and four RBIs in three-at-bats.
The Lazers will be back on the road on Thursday, May 5th as they travel to Binghamton to matchup with the Broome Hornets.. The first pitch is set for 2:00 p.m.
