Lazers Finish the Week 7-0

Syracuse, NY- Friday, the Lazers had a doubleheader matchup against Massasoit Community College. A 1st inning run by Mike Benedetto was all the Lazers needed to take the victory 1-0 in the 1st game. Devin Rooney and the Lazers defense gave up no runs during the game. Rooney had 6 strikeouts in 7 innings. 

The second game of the doubleheader was more offensive driven with the Lazers taking the victory 15-8. The Lazers used an 8 run 4th inning to propel themselves to victory. Alex Gibson led the Lazers with 2 runs and 4 RBI's. 

The Lazers will look to keep the win streak alive when they host Jefferson Community College Cannoneers for the second time this season in two 7-inning games Tuesday, March 22nd, at the Onondaga Community College Baseball Complex. The first game will begin at 2:00 p.m.
