Ryan Paige leading the Lazers to a 5-1 home victory. Paige had 9 strikeouts, 2 walks, and no runs allowed through 5 innings. Freshman pitcher
Rolland Balcerzak received the save facing 14 batters through 4 innings.
Offensively, the Lazers were led by sophomore first baseman
Tyler Jennings and sophomore third baseman
Garrett Stuckey. Jennings had 3 at-bats with 2 hits, 2 runs-batted-in, and 1 run. Stuckey battled it out with the pitcher 3 times earning 2 hits and a walk. He also scored twice.
The Lazers will face off against Jefferson Community College Cannoneers Wednesday, March 16
th in a doubleheader with the first game starting at 3:00 p.m.
