Batavia, NY- The Lazers traveled to Batavia to play in the Region III Final Four. On the first day of the tournament, the Lazers faced off against the Herkimer Generals. After falling behind in the first half the Lazers used a strong defensive second half to eventually defeat the Generals 61-59 to advance to the Championship Game. In the Championship Game, the Lazers lost a back and forth game with Genesee with a final score of 88-85.

After the tournament, Latyce Faison was named the Region III player of the year as well as making the all-tournament team. Jakhi Lucas joined him on the all-tournament for his performance over the weekend. 

The Lazers will now wait for The NJCAA Division 3 Men's Basketball selection show on Wednesday in hopes of an at large bid for the NJCAA Tournament.
